These products are used in the transportation and aircraft industries as a high performance inner liner for accelerator, clutch, emergency release brake, and transmission cables. Difficult cable routings and increasing temperatures in engine compartments require the use of PTFE based cable liners such as: Markel AR-280, AR-500™, AR-650™, and newly introduced AR-750™. Additional features like noise dampening, reduced jacket rotation and efficiency are available via Markel’s QUIET LINER®, TEFLOCK® Liner, and WAVE LINER® Cable Liner Products.
To meet environmental and automotive industry standards, Markel manufactures all PTFE and Fluoropolymer products using 100% certified resins made without PFOA surfactant. These resins are filled with a proprietary blend of hardened polymeric fillers, which yield liners that have anti-friction properties that deliver improved abrasion resistance and life cycle performance.
Markel Abrasion Resistant Cable Liners meet many of the global requirements as specified by GM, Ford, Toyota, VW, Mercedes, FCA and SAE. They are often specified with an outer jacket for cable weight reduction and sound dampening.
