General Information:
PTFE Tubing & Other Fluoropolymer Tubing

Markel manufactures a broad range of high temperature and chemically resistant fluoropolymer tubing including: PTFE, PFA, FEP, and PVDF.

Standard tubing diameters ranging from 3/32" to ½" are available in PTFE, with special sizes available upon request. Copolymer PFA, FEP, and PVDF tubing is available in standard sizes from 3/32" to
1 ¼", with special sizes available upon request.

Markel also has UL and CSA listings for a broad range of electrical grade PTFE tubing from 20AWG to ½" in diameter.

Customization Options:
PTFE Tubing & Other Fluoropolymer Tubing

Markel can provide Natural and filled PTFE tubing in custom designs such as in shapes other than round or with a splined surface. Dual wall designs can be provided such as the conductive inside layer used in M-Bond® Fuel Tubing. Filled and natural dual wall designs provide additional customization options. These dual walls are sintered at the same time and form one composite wall that can not be separated. Color stripes can be added in the extrusion process.

There are many different custom resins available for special needs such as high hoop strength required in liners for high pressure hose assemblies.

Mechanical applications include liners for welding wire feed tubes.
